Weekly Favorites 1.4.25

Alright first week of the year- let’s talk about some favorites!

I got 2 planners from Kinokuniya that I’ve been using a lot. They both start right at 2025 so I’ve had these for months and I’ve been waiting to use them… and they’re good! I might go into more detail about it eventually- but they’re good.

I’ve been reading the book Thin Air by Kellie M Parker which is a YA thriller that takes place on a luxury plane. I really liked it at first… but the plane part isn’t realistic at all and… it’s kind of a whodunnit but the whodunnit elements aren’t suspenseful. It’s just “well Simon could have done this because a, b, and c… but Taylor could have done it because of this and this. Dylan and Liam couldn’t do it- they’re too hot.” Like… it’s okay but I wish they showed us more about the characters rather than telling. Why is this a weekly favorite? It’s still good but… I’m almost done and I don’t know if it’s the best book ever.

I also finished watching the 2015 The Muppets- which is kind of underrated. I did not like it that much when it was on… but I appreciate seeing the muppets in different roles than what we’re used to seeing them as… and it was nice to see them acting more like the animals that they are. I thought it was kind of sad and similar in tone to Bojack Horseman when it was on… and I still kind of do but now that I knew what to expect it didn’t make me as sad.

I also started watching My Name Is Earl… and that show isn’t the best ever but it’s funny and very easy to watch. It’s been years since I’ve seen it- I think I’ve seen the whole show but only as it was airing… and I really liked the ending of it and wished they had been able to finish that storyline with one more season but… I’m glad there wasn’t too much of the show I guess.

And I saw Seven today in theaters for the first time and it was great! I will have a movie Monday on this on Monday probably.

And I think that’s everything!

Bye!
