TV Shows I’ve been liking lately

So I'll probably talk more about these in Friday Favorites but... I didn't watch Ant Man yet so I can't do my Ant Man Marvel Monday yet... those might happen after the new Ant Man comes out... I'll try to bunch some Marvel movies to keep up with Marvel Monday but yeah...

Anyway I really want to talk about the show Shrinking on Apple TV Plus. This is a show starring Jason Segal, Harrison Ford and Michael Urie... I love all of those people so yeah I was pretty excited they were all in a show together. So Jason Segal is a therapist but he is kind of mentally unstable. He lost his wife recently and is now trying to raise and reconnect with his teenage daughter. Harrison Ford is another Therapist and he is coping with having Parkinson's and he is secretly helping out Jason Segal's daughter and trying to help her reconnect with him also. The other therapist he works with is trying to help him also and she's going through a divorce and also coping with the loss of her best friend who was Jason Segal's wife.

We also have Jason Segal's character being too involved with his patients and really throwing himself into his work with no boundaries. He tells them specific things to do- he tells them everything in his life and yeah. Michael Urie is his best friend who's a lawyer that Jason Segal hasn't talked to since his wife passed. I feel like their story isn't fully done yet- it's only 3 episodes in but it's good to see Michael Urie back again. I loved him in Ugly Betty.

All the characters are really interesting and layered and it's just a fun show with a lot of heart too.

My next show is National Treasure: Edge of History. I was so tired when I put on the first episode of this show- I thought I'd just have it on and fall asleep- but it was actually really really good. So I had to watch it again- but I still missed some things so I watched it a third time... and I loved it. It connects to the movies really really well. The characters are really fun. Catherine Zeta Jones is the main villain... I haven't finished it yet but I think I know who the "twist" villain is. This is maybe my favorite Disney+ show. I really like it!

I think that's everything. I also like The Sopranos a lot and I've been watching an older season of The Bachelor... so yeah. That's fun.

I've also been watching some Safiya Nygaard videos on YouTube... I love all her video ideas and her staying in every Vegas hotel video was really fun!
