Top 5 Friday 5.16.25

So I thought instead of doing Friday Favorites I’m going to do a top 5 things I did this week, Saturday I’m thinking of posting my weekly favorites and Sunday I’ll post some sort of nostalgic memory that I think of during the week.

1) A Time To Kiln

On Sunday I went to A Time To Kiln in Red Bank- I did a whole post about it- it was so much fun. Red Bank is a really fun place to visit and my boyfriend and I just had a nice, relaxing time. Hopefully we can pick up our stuff next week and I’ll show you guys the finished product!

2) Watching Movies

So I mentioned on movie Monday that I’ve been watching movies on my phone… and I watched Erin Brokovich because my boyfriend was like “I don’t know anything about Erin Brokovich” so I watched it and then I got the idea to watch one movie from every year in the 2000’s… but then I thought I’d take it a step further because I watched My Girl which came out in 1991 which is the year I was born… so I’m trying to watch a movie from every year from all the years I’ve been born. And I’m trying to have it be a drama because I haven’t seen many dramas… and I’m making sure they’re movies I’ve never seen. I also did one movie per decade that was about women… and I might try to do other challenges within that.

So so far I’ve watched 5 movies and I’m halfway through the 6th movie… and I’m having fun. I’m not sure I’ll post about it on here for movie Monday and I’m taking notes so that I can do a bigger post sometime soon. Or videos or something.

3) I got a Labubu

I did a whole post on this too but my Labubu came in the mail and I’m really excited about it . I will probably do a post comparing it to other bag charms I have- but I love the Labubu and I’m happy about the one I got!

4) learned what a Jaw Harp was

I mentioned this in my blog post to but I thought I got my mom a harmonica- but it ended up being a Jaw Harp which she can’t really use… but my boyfriend was amused by it so he ended up taking it. I will say there are apparently better Jaw Harp’s than the snoopy one so if you’re serious about jaw harp’s I’d recommend a different one… but this one has snoopy on it and it’s cute.

5) Journaled-

I’ve been writing 3 pages in my journal every day- trying to do it in the morning but I was on vacation this week and couldn’t really get to it. It’s been interesting though.
