Throwback Thursday: All of the Barbie Dolls I Remember Having

Okay so after the Barbie movie came out I have some nostalgia and I wanted to talk about a lot of the Barbie's I had growing up.

So my favorite wasn't actually a Barbie- it was her friend Teresa- who was one of the only Barbie's I had with brown hair so that was the Shannon Barbie. She was also Blossom when I was really into Powerpuff Girls.

I only remember having 2 actual Ken Dolls. I had the one that came with his little brother Tommy and that Ken had really soft, shaggy hair and I had a Ken that came with my Ice Skater Barbie. I did have other boy dolls though, I had Hercules, Prince Eric, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Harvey from Sabrina and of corse my favorite Aaron Carter. Ohhh and Blane! I loved Blane!

Speaking of Blane- I had some Barbie's from the Generation Girls line. I think I had Barbie, Chelsea, and Tori. I remember the commercial for this one and I think Tori was fron Australia and "Chelsea is from London and she plays guitar" lol.

I mentioned I had Harvey- I did also have Sabrina and these came with lockers- which was cool! I liked the dress Sabrina had too! I had some from Clueless also- I believe these were released for the Clueless Tv Show that came out- I had Cher, Dionne and Amber. The Dionne one was pretty cool- she definitely looked the most like her character... the other two weren't as pretty in the face but they were still nice dolls that I played with a lot.

I had all of the spice girls except for Ginger Spice. My Sporty Spice's head popped off- but I still played with her she just had no neck because I had to push her neck down a lot. I played with Posh and Baby a lot. I believe Baby was Bubbles and Posh was Buttercup when I was really into Powerpuff girls.

I know I had a Megara from Hercules and a Mulan doll. Mulan came with long hair- but I think it was just an extension or something and it immediately came off and I was upset and my parents thought I cut it- but I didn't. I must have had more Disney ones too but I can't remember.

And I know I had a skipper I liked a lot- I had some Stacey's and some Kelly's and the one with Barbie and her baby sister. The pregnant Midge I did not have- I thought it was a little bit weird and I guess my parents did too. I knew other people that had it though- so I did see how she worked.

I remember having a gymnastics barbie and a baywatch barbie and one in this pretty gold bathing suit that had earrings and she smelled good.

That's all I can remember right now. I'm sure I'll think of more... but that was my short walk down memory lane!
