25 Days of 2025 Movies: Marty Supreme

Alright now to my first movie in theaters for 2026: Marty Supreme! I really enjoyed this one and I think so far it’s in my top 10 movies that were released in 2025!

This is about Marty Mauser- a wannabe ping pong champion from New York City and his journey to get to Japan for the Ping Pong Championship…but basically he tries to live outside his means and the budget that he’s given from the ping pong association.

Timothee Chalamet is really good in this movie. He’s really funny and even though Marty is not a likable character at all. You still care about him and you want to see what happens but… he’s not really likable and I don’t think I was really rooting for him… I just kind of wanted to see what happened.

My first reaction to this movie was that my mom wouldn’t like it… and there were parts I guess where Marty was annoying and hard to watch but… overall I really liked the movie. I don’t know if it’s for everyone- but it is a fun movie with great performances from everyone!
