The Golden Age of Being a Horse Girl

Okay- So I am not a horse girl- I’ve never owned horses or taken horseback riding lessons or anything. I did have a friend who did growing up and I watched her ride a few horses… but for non horse girls that can’t own a horse or take lessons- my childhood was pretty much the golden age of being a horse girl.

So first off I need to mention Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron. This was a fun movie- not dialogue heavy but a fun movie and… I will never stop talking about the soundtrack. The soundtrack went unbelievably hard… and like I wonder why Bryan Adam’s was like “this is a kids movie about horses… I’m going to write the best music of all time.” And you get absolute bangers like Get Off of My Back… it’s insanely good. Definitely listen to it!

Anyway so that’s really good and then there was Barbie Horse Adventures which was also a great horse game. I feel like this game would kill today just for ASMR people. The sounds were really satisfying and it really made you feel like you were brushing a horse or petting its fur or feeing it sugar cubes. I loved this game.

There were probably other horse shows… but these are what stood out to me right now and I just wanted to talk about it. If you were an indoorsy lover of horses- the 2000’s were for you!

That is everything!

Bye!
