Swiffer Power Mop: First Impressions

Okay- a while ago I got the Swiffer Power Mop and I finally opened it up and used it... and I have some thoughts.

So I didn't know it was battery operated. Batteries are included with this. It also came with the cleaning solution and 2 mop pads... I was really disappointed in the 2 mop pads. I think for the price of this... it should have come with a pack. Or at least like 5. No one is using this in just 2 rooms... idk.

So the pads it comes with are easy to put on- it's just Velcro- you just stick it on the bottom of the swiffer which is a lot better than the old swiffer. I would recommend starting on your room that's the least dirty because... you can probably reuse this pad a bit. My kitchen doesn't gather a lot of dust- plus I don't know if the solution will work for that surface... so I like to use it dry there first- then I'll use it dry on any other floors and then use it wet.

The dry pads... I don't think are that much better than the original dry swiffer pads. They say they have over 500 Philanges - which just makes me think of Phoebe saying the left Philange is broken on the plane. I guess it works a little bit better- but it's not my favorite.

I've never used the Swiffer Wet Jet or the Swiffer Vacuum... but this is okay. If you have one of those you probably don't need this. I think they're phasing out the dry swiffer pads- which I love... plus they've made the more recent ones differently... so I got this for that purpose... but it's not that bad.

Anyway get this if you'd like to get it... it's not the worlds best mop but it gets the job done and for me... it might be the best mop.

Ohhh it's also got cleaning fluid that dispenses out from the button you push on the handle. It's nice. There are other similar mops out there- probably different solutions also... but yeah. This is convenient and pretty easy to use.
