Shannon’s Reviews Spooky Edition: Elvira Mistress of the Dark

So I love Elvira and I've never seen this movie... and it's not really what I expected at all.

I think it got horrible reviews- but I don't think it was bad at all. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be- but I thought it was going to be spookier and more Halloween-ish. I would compare this more to Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Wayne's World of even The Brady Bunch Movie. And I've only seen the Brady bunch out of all of those... so yeah.

There were still some spooky moments and some witchiness but it was mostly about Elvira being famous and wanting money for a show she's doing in Vegas. Overall it's good and there are some good jokes and it's funny. If you like Elvira you'll probably like this movie.

There were a lot of boob jokes... and it was kind of too many but there were some good ones.
