Shannon’s Review: Bluey S1 Ep 32 Bumpy and The Wise Old Wolfhound

Alright- yesterday I sat down pretty much all day and watched Bluey with my dog. And then my 6 year old niece came over and I watched some more with her... but this is an episode that I felt like I actually watched and paid a good amount of attention to... so I'm going to review it. Yes I'm an adult and I spent my day off watching Bluey with my dog... this is good.

This episode is really cute and it would be a good way to explain Covid and its complications to kids. This was actually in season 1 so it was before covid... but in this episode Bingo gets sick and is at the hospital and she misses playing with her sister and everyone. So Bluey sends her a video of a little sketch with Bluey's cousins and family members and Bluey has her cousin socks who is a puppy play a sick puppy and Bluey tries to go to a wizard or something to get her to feel better... but the wizard needed the hair from someone who's never been sick... and everyone's been sick at some point- so there was no fixing it. And basically that's what Bingo learned. Everyone's sick some time and you just have to kind of accept that and work on getting better.

It isn't my favorite episode of Bluey or the best episode of Season1 but I did really like it and I thought the lesson could be useful... so it was worth a review.

See ya later!
