I did it! I finished 4 books for the month of January and now I can buy myself a pizza! Today I'm going to talk about the bookmark that I made and tomorrow I'll talk about the books I read and what I'm picking out next month.

If you guys don't know- I started a reading challenge that I am calling the Read It Challenge! It's based off of the old Pizza Hut Book It program where you had to read a certain amount of books a month- at my school it was 4 l, and then your teacher would give you a coupon for a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut! And this was Pizza Hut back in the 90s... so it was really good and it was a nice place to sit inside.

So I wanted to make a bookmark to be like the coupon they would give you for reading the four books. So I got some pre- made bookmarks on Amazon just made from Card Stock. I also ordered

A Canon Ivy Printer from Target with my Circle Points- this wasn't just for the bookmark- that would

Be a little expensive... but I do really like using the printer for this.

On the Canon Ivy Printer App- They have a Collage option and I just put one of the books I was reading on each of the spaces. I just screenshotted the images online and then I edited them to be a little bit brighter on the bookmark.

I placed these on the bookmark and allowed some space to give a mini review of the books and drew a few pictures relating to the books themselves. I drew Lightning bolts for The Lightening Theif, hearts and rainbow flags for Heartstopper, I drew a rocket ship,

Purple scuba flippers and a bisexual pride flag and some hearts for Mistakes Were Made and I did bees and flowers for The Honeys.

I also wrote the date and the read it challenge with a little logo similar to the book it challenge... and I drew a pizza and wrote that I'm an adult and I can get my own pizza!

Overall I'm really happy with all the colors and doodles on these... plus the stickers came out great too! I am excited for this challenge and I'll talk about it more tomorrow!

Bye!

-Shannon
