Shannon’s Adventures: Sick Day

Today I had a day off of work... but I spent it sick in bed so that was no fun... but yeah heres how that went.

I woke up... early. I had a headache and I was trying to make it better but it just kept getting worse- so I took some medicine around 9:30... there was also some noise outside of my bedroom window and it wasn't noise you want to hear when you have a horrible headache... so I was just going to go to the living room and fall back asleep there but then I went to the bathroom and that is when I got sick sick...

After that I took a shower cause gross, but also I sprayed hairspray in my hair thinking it was detangler and my hair was like a stiff Barbie doll hair... and it felt awful so I had to wash my hair and whatnot too... then I went back to my bedroom and I wanted to listen to an audiobook but I fell asleep. The audiobook was "the c*ck down the block" which in this case it's just about a rooster. It's a pretty cute rom com about a football player that has always been in love with his curvy girl best friend and he feels friendzones by her... I think they end up fake dating and he finds out she's a virgin... it's cute so far but I don't love it. I listened to it on Hoopla from my library.

Anyway after that I fell asleep until about 2'oclock... so I woke up and watched a few episodes of friends. I was going to watch it on TBS- but TBS was on the same episode I was on on HBO so... I just put on HBO. I watched The One With The Kips, The One With The Yeti, and The One Where Ross Moves In... then my headache came back so I took an ibuprofen again since it was 5 hours since the last one I had taken (and I think that one didn't count cause it was before I got sick) and then I went to take another nap.

I don't think I actually ended up taking a nap though-

I started to feel a bit better and I read some of Butcher and Blackbird- which is really good so far! Worth the hype it's getting.

And then I had dinner and now I'm watching Wheel of Fortune and The Masked Singer is on tonight and so is Abbot Elementary so I'm excited!

So I'm still not feeling that good but I don't have a horrible headache right now so I'm just going to take that as a win... and hope I feel a little better.
