Alright so last week my boyfriend and I both had a day off and we wanted to do something adventurous so we went to Edgewater and The American Dream Mall!

It’s a bit of a drive for us- but we love going to Daiso and Kinokuniya and we wanted to see the Stitch Miniso pop up… and I desperately wanted to check out Pop Mart!

So we started at Kinokuniya- which is a Japanese book and stationary store. They have the best planners and notebooks there- and I got a little pink notebook I forget the brands name. We also saw that they had books by Kotara Isaka- the author of Bullet Train- that had been translated to English- and we’re trying to get all of his books so we were excited.

I think he got some notebooks also and maybe some manga? I forget.

Then we went to Daiso- which is a Japanese Dollar Store kind of- not much is over $5 I would say. From here I got some Patches- one Hangyodon and a pink bow- if I get my hands on the new Trader Joe’s bags I’m going to put those on them! I got my mom a flashlight that also has a whistle and I got some snacks. I got choco sticks- which were kind of like Giant pocky sticks with strawberry pop rocks on them! They were really good!

I think I got something else from Daiso too but I can’t remember… and I’m not sure what my boyfriend got either.

We went to a place next door for bubble tea after… I forget what I got and what the name of the place was but the tea was really good but the chocolate muffin we got was a little dry. We got it warmed up- maybe that was a mistake… but I wouldn’t get the muffin again.

And then onto the mall! We saw the Stitch pop up right away and I got the stitch bag charm that looks like a stitch Labubu- it’s a vinyl plush bag charm and it’s called “eat something before you go to sleep” I got the donut… he’s really cute and I was excited.

I also got a little Scrump coin purse- I love these little coin purses and I love scrump! And I love that you can clip it on your purse or anything. It’s really great!

We also went to the regular Miniso- I didn’t get anything from Miniso but I love looking around. I do have a Miniso closer to my house now- which I went to over the weekend too and I also didn’t buy anything from- but I was actually surprised that none of the stuff from the Stitch pop up was at either store- so it is exclusive Stitch merch- although I’m sure they’ll sell it closer to the movie’s release date.

And we went to Pop Mart- and I wasn’t really expecting them to have any Labubu but… I did really want a Labubu. I think they restock Sunday and they usually have a crazy line around restock days… so I’m not sure I’m up for that… but I did buy a SkullPanda I got the Rock On skull panda from the winter dreams series I think it’s called. I kind of like these more than Labubu because the detail on these are just awesome!

And then we went to the Bandai Gasha Pon store- they used to have a second gasha pon store too but I think it was closed because of the Stitch pop up. Anyway my boyfriend got me a couple of really cute charms with rain jackets on them. I need to get a picture of them I think I got a duck and something else… but I can’t remember. They are adorable though! I’ll post a haul in a few days where I’ll share pictures of everything!

And then we went home and had Chilis for dinner!!! And we ordered a lot of food from chilis but it was really good. We went back to my house and watched the movie World’s Greatest Dad with Robin Williams… and I don’t think that’s a movie for everyone but if you like Robin Williams I think you might like that movie.

Bye!

-Shannon
