Shannon’s Adventures: Christmas shopping at the Mall

Alright so... I braved the mall tonight- which when I'm writing this is December 22nd- so just 2 days before Christmas and I had quite the adventure.

So I went with my parents after we went to dinner... and we looked around at Christmas lights before for a little bit and then went to the mall. I was going to Old Navy and my parents went to Boscov's for their gift cards.

So when I worked in the mall... like 10+ years ago Old Navy was always packed. I was expecting a long ridiculous line and for it to take like 15+ minutes to get a gift card. It did not take that long at all. There was one person in front of me when I got in line... and there were 2 customers being waited on. They also used to have security at the front door... but they don't anymore. It wasn't that busy and I just got in and got out and I think my parents were still looking around.

So then I was like "well if I'm going to get this person gift cards- maybe I should put them in a cute little gift card holder- and there just happened to be a Christmas store right next door to Old Navy- so I went there- found some tiny bags for $3 and that's what I got.

I was wearing my snoopy purse from Boxlunch- not a loungefly backpack but Bio World... it got a lot of compliments.

After that I went to Barnes and Noble where I thought "I should get someone a nice notebook" so I bought a Leichtrum notebook and I got a gift receipt for it and I don't know who to give it to... sooo... that was impulsive.

And they had a local author signing books there- so I got the book Fire and Flight by Brianna Shaffery and she signed it for me! She was very nice and the book sounded really interesting. It's a YA Fantasy I believe they said and... I will probably read this soon and let you know! I got the first book- but there are 3 books in this series!

And I got another gift card- and it was a cute grinch one!

And that ended my mall adventure! Overall success! I am excited about the gift cards I'm giving!
