Reading Plans for 2025

Okay- so I’ve got a few more “new year” posts with best of 2024 and goals for 2025 left. I don’t know that I have a reading goal yet- but I have a plan of how I want to read things.

So right now I have a list of books I want to read so that I don’t just read from the same genre… and I kind of know about when I can finish the books… so I think this is a pretty solid list.

Now… as of now I’m not exploring that many different genres… but I’ve got 18 kind of goals so far and this is what I’m going to try to get through… maybe in January- maybe January and February??? I’m not sure I usually read like a book a week… but I might try to do more than that this week.

1)Ya

Right now I’m reading a YA book called Thin Air by Kellie M Parker and I’m trying to do 100 pages a day and finish it in 3 days since it’s about 300 pages. I did it yesterday and I’ve got 50 pages left today. I think it’ll be good!

2) Mystery

Next on the list is mystery… which I can probably read pretty quickly since I like to find out what happens. I have a Christmas mystery book that I got and didn’t get a chance to read it at Christmas… but my tree is still up so I can still read my Christmas books.

3) Romance

I probably have the most romance so this will be good.

4) Fantasy

I like fantasy but I struggle reading it and getting into the worlds sometimes. I feel like this will help me get more into it.

5)Manga

An easy read and I have some good ones I gotta read!

6) Series

I have a few series I’ve started and never finished or ones I’m in the middle of so this is good too.

7) James Bond

I have a lot of James Bond Books I’ve never read and it’s cheap and easy to find more.

8) 400+ pages

This might be more difficult but I think these books will help me build up to it.

9) Under 300 pages

And this one will maybe be less difficult!

10) Comic

I have a lot of comics and graphic novels too that I’d like to read so I gotta include them here!

11) Colleen Hoover

I gotta read more Colleen Hoover. I have a bunch of her books so… it’ll be good to get through them.

12) Series

Another Series pick!

13) Mystery

And another mystery

14) Romance

you can maybe see where this is going…

15) YA

I have a lot of YA.

16) James Bond

some of these books are short so it’ll be easy to get through.

17) Thriller

I have a lot of horror and thriller books too

18) Romance

And another romance after that!

We’ll see how I do and I’ll update if I get these done this month or next month. And if I even get through one!
