Overnight Oats Recipe

Okay I’ve been making my own overnight oats- and I just kind of use what I have in the house. These are all pretty much ingredients that I always have on hand.

I found a similar recipe on Lemon8- so this isn’t really my original recipe but I just didn’t add ingredients that I didn’t have.

I use 1 cup oats. I pour about half of it into my container- I use a reusable coffee cup from Starbucks, and then I add some of my ingredients before adding the rest that way it layers a bit better. I did 2 tablespoons of peanut butter- and I added the one before adding the rest of the oats and the other after.

After that I put in 2 spoonfuls of honey and a little bit of cinnamon.

Then to make it “oat” ify I added half a cup of milk and half a cup of water and I just left it in the fridge overnight and then I ate it in the morning and it was really good. It was a little watery so I would just really really stir it around beforehand.

Also I have some granola that I didn’t add today but I think it would have been pretty good. I just wouldn’t add that until after because it will get stale overnight.

Also the oats I got are from tj maxx. They’re an Australian brand and they have flax in them. They’re really good! You can use anything you can find or anything you have but if you’re at tj maxx or similar store and you see oats- they’re worth trying!

Bye!
