Movie Review: Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Theives

So I thought a movie adaptation for Dungeons and Dragons could be hit or miss. I know they've made a bad movie in the past- but this movie looked so fun and it looked somewhat less like the game and more just about the fantasy... it was like the 2000's fantasy movies that I grew up with and mostly enjoyed. Harry Potter, LOTR, Pirates of the Caribbean and probably a lot I'm forgetting about.

Chris Pine is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors. As much as I did not like Don't Worry Darling- I thought Pine did an amazing job as the villain and would compare his versatility to someone like Jake Gyllenhaal. He could be the funny theif in a fantasy movie- or the villain in a fantastical reality sci fi type movie.

The rest of the cast is really good too. I loved their chemistry and dynamic. I really liked Holga- she was probably my favorite person in the movie. The daughter character was good too.

I don't have a whole lot else to say about this movie... I just think you guys should check it out it's a lot of fun! If you aren't a fan of dungeons and dragons I think you'll still like it... and if you do like Dungeons and Dragons- I think you'll be able to tell where you would roll the dice and where stuff would happen during the game... which I think is fun.

Bye!
