Movie Monday: Some Movies I’m Looking forward to

So I watched a few movies that I’d like to do full Movie Monday posts about… BUT im not feeling that well so… let’s talk about some movies coming out that im excited for.

Love Hurts

Alright this comes out next week- really good trailer and I’m excited for it. Ke Huy Quan stars in this action movie with Ariana Debose… it looks like a fun adventure.

Heart Eyes

This is a good slasher movie that takes place on Valentines Day and the slasher looks kind of cute and scary. I don’t think I’ll watch Scream 7 in theaters- but this looks enough like Scream that it’s a good alternative!

Drop

Okay- this trailer looked good but the name is so bad it took me forever to find out what it was. This is a woman going on her first date since her husband passed away, she has a friend watching her son I think and she gets messages telling her to poison her date or the killer will get their son. And he’s watching everything she’s doing and the son is doing. This releases in April.

F***, Marry, Kill

This I think got delayed or something cause I saw one trailer for it and then nothing else but this is like a girl and her friends are trying to find a serial killer by looking on dating apps and finding out who’s trying to kill her. I don’t know if this will be any good but I kind of want to watch it.

Mickey 17

This is the one I’m most excited for. I love Bong Joon Ho- he’s directing this movie. It looks hilarious and action packed. I think this has my favorite director and my favorite actor is probably Robert Pattinson… so I’m excited for this one. I actually just ordered the book Mickey 7 so I might try to read that before seeing the movie.

Novocaine

This trailer is a little overplayed but I don’t care I really like the idea of this movie and I love Jack Quaid. Action movie starring a regular guy that can’t feel pain. Great idea.

Sinners

This movie looks pretty good too. It’s directed by Ryan Coogler and stars Michael B Jordan playing two roles… which might be weird because it was supposed to be Jonathan Majors in one of the roles… but instead of getting another actor they got Michael B Jordan to do both parts… so I’m interested to see how this works out- but I still want to see it.

There are other really big movies I should mention here too… I’m excited for the new Superman, the new Mission Impossible and a lot more… but this is sort of movies where I’m like “yeah. That’s kind of exciting.”
