Movie Monday: Deadpool and Wolverine

Alright so I saw Deadpool and Wolverine on opening day with my boyfriend and also my parents who watched the Deadpool movies over and over again when they were on a flight to Japan! My dad who rarely goes to the movies even wanted to see it! So that’s what a big deal Deadpool is to us… and this one didn’t disappoint! This was my favorite Deadpool yet!

I think Wolverine gave this movie a good balance of it being kind of serious but also it was nonstop jokes and overall the funniest of the Deadpool movies in my opinion. I loved the first movie, but the scenes where he actually becomes Deadpool are a little more serious and in the second movie it’s more funny than anything else. Neither movie is bad but I think this one is better because it balances out the other movies really really well.

It was also really good to see Hugh Jackman again as Wolverine. He did a great job and it doesn’t seem like he was tired of the role- it was something new and different. And a lot of his scenes without Deadpool in it were great.

There were a ton of great Easter eggs and references in this movie… there’s a gossip girl reference at the beginning that is good and a lot of good Blake lively references. Also if you love the fox Marvel movies from before Disney bought Marvel- this pays tribute to a lot of them.

So overall this movie I would say is a must see… especially a must see in theaters. I had fun watching it. There was a guy sitting next to my boyfriend that was laughing so hard and having a great time in the movie sitting by himself. Everyone seemed really excited for it!

And that is everything! Hope you guys like this!

Bye!
