25 Days of Christmas Movies: Elf

Now one of my favorite movies that I watch every year! Elf! I love this movie and I would watch it and laugh any time of the year- but it is a very magical Christmas movie for sure!

This time when I was watching it I just kept thinking how Buddy kept getting himself into situations that just get him beat up. First he tried hugging the racoon, second he got beat up by the fake santa for pulling his beard off- and last he got beat up by Peter Dinklage for calling him an Elf. Buddy doesn’t really seem hurt by any of these things- actually the one time he beats someone up is when he’s throwing snowballs at the kids in his brothers class… so Buddy beats up children… but the man can also take a beating!

I really love the design and the costumes for everyone in the North Pole. The animated characters really make it more magical and add that christmasy feeling that I really like.

I also love the ending of this movie with Santa and the Clausometer. It feels really magical to me and this is one of those movies that makes you believe in Santa. It’s just a lot of fun!
