Movie Monday: Black Bag Review

Okay- so on Friday I got out to the movies with my boyfriend- we wanted to see this and Novocaine and this one had a better showtime for us- so we saw Black Bag- which is a spy movie and… this is a great date movie honestly! I would definitely recommend checking it out for date night.

So this is directed by Stephen Sodaberg- who’s pretty well known for doing the Ocean’s 11-13 movies I think and he does a lot of different genres of movies… his movies always seem to have a good pacing, memorable characters and they just look really good… and this was really a perfect example of that.

And I don’t want to talk too much about this movie because I’m afraid saying too much could give out spoilers but it has a lot of twists and the characters are all pretty surprising. The trailers even made this look like it was a man that had to decide if he believed his wife or if he wanted to be loyal to the spy agency they worked for… and it’s a lot more than that. It’s just really good.

The ending is a little predictable- not in a bad way just in a you should get what’s going to happen if you pay attention way… and I really liked it. My boyfriend liked it too. We both really like spy movies and this is one of those movies I can watch and smile really big at.
