Movie Challenges for 2025

So in 2025 I’m trying to see more movies in theaters… but I have some other challenges I want to do too… so I thought I’d mention that today.

First off: I have a 52 week movie journal thing that I’m trying to fill out. It has a different prompt of a movie to watch each week- which you can fill out in any order… and it gives you some questions to answer about the movie. So far I did a movie classic- which was 12 Angry Men which I really enjoyed and that’s about it so far.

I’m also trying to watch movies from different countries- which my boyfriend is also doing with me. We’re going to try to watch one movie a month from a different country. This month we picked India and we’re watching an Indian movie called Om Shanti Om… which I’m enjoying so far and he is too. We’ve got over an hour left of it.

I also want to try to watch more movies that we’ve always wanted to see and just haven’t yet. So he wanted to see 12 Angry Men so we watched that… there were some movies last year that I put on and we just kind of watched them and they were good- like My Cousin Vinny and Vanilla Sky.

I think we also want to see more movies in theaters… so pretty much right now if we’re a little interested in something or if it has a good trailer… we’re just seeing it. I do want to see all of the Oscar nominated movies before the Oscar’s… so far I’ve seen Conclave, Wicked, Dune part 2 and Emilia Perez. Knowing that Emilia Perez was nominated for best picture when there are much more deserving movies that got no love or recognition is bonkers to me… but… I guess that happens.

Anyway yeah- I will probably update my progress with this on here whenever I have enough movies to do that with- or possibly in my movie Monday posts. I might post on other apps about the movies too… but I’m not sure… but yeah that’s it so far!

Bye!
