May Diaries 24: Cherries and Cream Soda Float

Okay- so I couldn’t decide what I wanted as a dessert after I had dinner last night. I sort of wanted a milkshake, but I also sort of wanted a soda- and we had some cherries and cream Stewart’s sodas and vanilla ice cream… so I had an Ice Cream Soda.

I put my glass in the freezer while the ice cream softened and I started with a little bit of ice cream- then I poured a little soda- scooped out a bit more and filled the rest with soda. I just kept refilling the soda as it went down. I drank it without a straw at first but then a straw seemed more fitting- and I had a spoon too.

You can’t go wrong with an ice cream soda. This was very sweet and right after I ate some mini Doritos.
