May Diaries 13: My Favorite Looks from The Met Gala

I don’t have too many thoughts on the Met Gala this year which is why I’m posting so late… but I’ll let you know what celebrity looks I liked a lot!

The theme was inspired by time and sleeping beauty… which I thought was more boring than past themes.

Zendaya’s first look of the night was my favorite. I thought she looked so pretty and elegant and I thought it encapsulated the theme really well.

Bad Bunny’s suit was my favorite. His was made to look like it was unfinished and it looked that way and it was just really cool looking and as far as looking good, getting the theme right and having a very art inspired suit I think his was the best for men.

J Lo looked beautiful. I’m not sure that it was my favorite as far as the theme went but I did think she looked really good.

I’m not a fan of the Kardashian’s but I loved Kim’s dress.

Ayo Edebiri from The Bear had a beautiful dress that I loved! She looked so gorgeous!

A lot of people wore Marc Jacob’s this year and the best was definitely Kiki Palmer in my opinion… she looked great.

Hari Nef and Awkwafina both wore H&M and I really liked Hari Nef’s dress.

There was a sort of naked theme with a lot of the outfits and I really liked Janelle Monet and I don’t know who she is- but I also really liked Taylor Russel’s.

Kieran Culkin had a really nice colorful suit.

Alex Newell was there and I love them! They always look fabulous!

Lily Gladstone had a beautiful dress by an indigenous designer and she looked lovely!

And I don’t know who Phoebe Dynevor is but she wore a gorgeous Victoria Beckham designed dress.

So that’s everything! I hope you guys like this!

Bye!

-Shannon
