Let’s do the Wordle (12.13.23)

So I'm trying to write all my small posts in one day... let's do the wordle today!

I'm going to start with Stare- because that usually does well to me... okay so with Stare I got an S as the first letter and there is a T and an E somewhere in there- just not where I have them for Stare. Let's try a second word...

I don't see any words off hand that have SE and a T in it... so I'm going to put an I in as a vowel and see if maybe there's an E as the second to last letter. Maybe like Sited? I'm not sure if this counts as past tense... let's try it.

nope- but now I know 2 more places where the T and the E don't belong... let's see what other words I can have. No A and no I...

For some reason I went "I know Sooth!" But no there's no E in sooth... but now I know for sure T is the last letter...

Okay so I tried Sleet after that- which I should have known from Sited the E is not the fourth letter- but now I know it's S_E_T which I should have known.

So the first word I thought of that could fit was Swept- which I think has been the word before recently... so that didn't sound right to me- but I went with it and I got a P but not as the fourth letter...

So that means P must be the second letter. So I've got 4 of 5 letters right now. SPE_T... SPENT! It must be spent...

And I put it in and it is Spent! Wordle in 5!
