Friday Favorites: 2.10.23

Alright! Time for the favorites of the week!

My Starbucks order currently is the Pistachio Latte and I really really like it. They put a lot of syrup in it at my Starbucks! It's really really good!

My mom usually goes early in the morning to get Starbucks and I drink it later in the day so I've been reheating it in a mug and putting it in my Stanley Tumbler which I also really love. This holds 40 ounces and it keeps warm coffee warm for a really long time! Usually by the time I drink it at work it's still hot!

Shrinking on Apple TV Plus is the best comedy I've seen in a while. I've done a whole post on it so check that out! It stars Jason Segal and Harrison Ford and all the side characters are very layered and it's just so so good. I would recommend checking it out if you can get Apple TV Plus! Definitely worth a watch!

Another show I like that isn't popular is Velma on HBO Maxx. Uhhh... I understand the criticisms with this show... I do. I overall liked it- but I do feel a bit mixed about the finale. I'm not sure who the show was made for- I don't know if I can recommend it for Scooby Doo Fans... basically I think you should check it out if you want to! It's not life changing, it's sometimes entertaining and funny... the characters aren't great but I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be.

We need to talk about Baz Luhrman's Elvis movie because it is really really good. I like Elvis but honestly- this Elvis movie is one of the best movies I've seen. Austin Butler was born to play Elvis. I really liked him on Carrie Diaries- but he just really gave this movie his all. Like his ALL! He became Elvis. I so almost want him to win the Oscar- I think he deserves an Oscar but... I'm 100% rooting for my man Brendan Fraser! I haven't seen The Whale yet- I might soon... but yeah- I think it's between the two of them... and I think either one deserves it!

I've been on TikTok a lot lately too... so I guess that's a favorite... but maybe we shouldn't talk about it being my favorite because I think it's unhealthy and I love it!
