Friday Favorites 10.18.24

Alright it’s my birthday week and my week off of work… so it’s been a fun week of favorites!

I will have a full blog post with details of how I did this- but I’ve wanted to turn my mini Trader Joe’s tote bags into crossbody bags for a while and I finally got it so that it’s more useable… and I’m kind of obsessed with it!

I’ve been journaling this week too- I have a fancy looking unlined journal- which I really like because I can draw in it and put stickers in it. It has a little lock on it too which I really like. It’s just been fun to write down what’s going on and what I’ve been feeling.

I watched the Tim Burton Batman movie this week- the very first one with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson and I’ve been watching Batman: The Animated Series which is really exciting. I’ve been watching and liking Penguin too- so that’s kind of why I’ve decided to watch all the Batman movies and probably a lot of the shows… and I’ve seen these movies enough that I’m not really going in any order I’m just kind of going by villain… so since I watched one Joker movie, I’m probably going to watch The Dark Knight next and then Joker. And I’ll just kind of skip around for it- I’ll probably watch them all again with my boyfriend too- so that’s another reason why I’m not really doing it in order. I only watched them on Sunday this week…. But I’ll still watch more of them. I like Batman a lot.

Penguin is also a favorite of the week… what a great episode the newest one was… and Penguin wasn’t really in it. I hope Cristina Miloti and Colin Farrel get Emmy nominations for this… this is a great show even if you don’t like Batman and you like Gangster shows I think you’ll like it a lot.

I’ve also been loving the new procedural shows that are on… High Potential is great, Matlock is really good, Elsbeth is coming back tonight the day I’m writing this… so it’s exciting.

Also going to mention Bagel Nook- there are several locations in New Jersey right now and they really do have great bagels and cream cheeses. They have good pastries and things too. I’ve tried the cannoli overload bagel and yesterday I got a flat everything bagel with the Cool Ranch cream cheese and a hashbrown and it was sooo good. They had a mix up with the order because I wanted to try it on a dorito bagel… but I ended up liking the everything better. They have another good bagel that my boyfriend got called the Davie with veggie cream cheese and that was really good too. And they have K cups that are really good too! My boyfriend got me the Peanut Butter and Jelly K Cups!

There’s probably a lot more things but this is all for now…
