Foodie Tuesday: Favorite Foods 2023

Okay this year has been good for food... I've been to a few different places to get food... and it's just been a fun foodie year.

In January of 2023 I saw They Might Be Giants in Philadelphia and I went to Redding Terminal Market. That was a fun place! I don't even really remember what I ordered- but I liked it and I also got boba tea.

I went to Fannueil Hall when I was in Boston too and I had one of the best lobster rolls I've ever had. My boyfriend had something that had really good Crab Rangoons too. I've never ordered Crab Rangoon's for myself... but maybe I should I kind of like them!

I was upset that Chilis changed their chicken crispers but honestly now I like the chicken crispers. I like that it comes with different sauces... it's better than Dave's Hot Chicken... which was probably my least favorite food of the year.

Finns is probably my favorite place to get tacos and burritos at and they had some great appetizers this year. One was the SRH Sampler- this came with spring rolls, egg rolls, and potstickers. They also have a buffalo chicken dip that I've really liked recently. They had a great guacamole on their menu this year- but I forget what it was called and it was a special- it's different than their regular guacamole.

Kura Sushi was probably like the number 1 fun place I went to this year food wise... and the sushi was really good. I was never that much of a sushi fan- I'm still not the biggest fan... but there was a lot of sushi and non sushi on the menu that I really liked... and it was fun.

I made my own coffees and even brewed my own cold brew this year... I really like making my own coffee now instead of getting it from Starbucks all the time. I can control the taste a little more.

The Elf Cookies from Pepperidge Farm are delicious... these are a maple sugar flavor... they're salty and sweet and really good.

I also really liked the Werthers Caramel Apple and pumpkin candies. The soft ones that look like tootsie rolls and the hard ones that are soft in the middle.

I think that's everything I want to mention right now. I'm sure I will think of other favorites as time goes on... but right now this is everything!

Bye!

-Shannon
