Food I’ve Enjoyed Lately

Okay- so I’ve got some snacks and some food I want to talk about.

First off: Girl Scout cookies. I know someone that sells Girl Scout cookies so I bought some from her and my parents have been getting them from some girl scouts that are usually in front of a restaurant they go to… and I have some my boyfriend got me for Valentine’s Day… that I ate already but still. Usually I get Samoas, Thin Mints, and my parents like the Trefoils… I also like the adventurefulls which I just tried this year. And I like the Tagalongs aka the peanut butter patties- but they melt really easily if it’s too hot which it usually is but this year it was still cold when we saw the one Girl Scout. What’s your cookie order??? I’d love to know what everyone’s must haves are!

Also I’ve never really ventured outside of the popcorn and soda at the movie theaters- BUT I saw that they had donut holes now… and I really wanted to try them and when I saw Princess Mononoke we did not have time to have dinner beforehand- so I figured a popcorn and some donut holes would hold us over until we could eat a late dinner. I got the maple sugar ones I think or maple butter. It came with some sort of dip that you could dip it in- but I couldnt really get the sauce on the donut easily. It didn’t stick on for me… but it still tasted pretty good. And it tasted good with the popcorn. This probably isn’t something I will always get at the movie theaters- but if I have some rewards or I didn’t eat dinner before this would probably be my first pick. The other thing I want to try that I haven’t seen yet: the A24 chocolates!!! I’m hoping my theater gets them.

The last thing I want to review is the food I ate after seeing Princess Mononoke… which was from Miller’s Ale House! This is open late around me (all locations might be) and we’ve been before and we were a tiny bit disappointed in their portion sizes… this time we both got sandwiches and we were pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend got a veggie burger and he liked it a lot and I got the Philly Cheesesteak. It was really really good- the cheese was perfectly melty, the steak was really nice and flavorful… the roll was really good. We also got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer- which is our go to usually… and we loved them! So good and cheesy and flavorful! Loved it!

So yeah that is everything I want to talk about today… I will do another food roundup again eventually and… yeah!

Bye!
