December Adventures: Philadelphia Christmas Market at Love Park

Okay so one thing I love is a market, a craft show, anything with vendors… so when I found out there was a Christmas market in Philadelphia and they had cute shops and food and hot chocolate… and I wanted to go there! So we didn’t stay a long time- but we bought some things and we looked at a lot of stuff!

All the vendors were really nice and they had unique things. The first thing that caught my eye was a ring in a vendor from Tibet who had a lot of really cool things. It was silver so it goes with the other rings and it had a cool stone and a pattern. My boyfriend actually bought it for me which was very sweet.

Then I found a store that had all these vintage looking things and they had like tea saucer earrings and necklaces and they had these pocket watch necklaces. I’ve been wanting a watch necklace forever and this one had pretty purple flowers on the back. I’m going to have to look at their business card and check out their shop because I loved it and I would have bought more but I couldn’t decide what I wanted other than the pocket watch… which was perfect and totally what I was looking for.

And then a few booths later we found a booth with a very nice man from Morocco who had a bunch of really cool things that were from Morocco- and they had these cool coin pouches that fold out- and they take up like no space in a wallet or a purse. My boyfriend and I both got one and we got one for my niece.

My boyfriend also bought a pair of gloves- but they didn’t quite fit his hand and he was using his phone so he couldn’t use the gloves with them… so he gave them to me.

And then on our way out we stopped for Hot Chocolate- which was AMAZING and we got a soft pretzel to go with it. The hot chocolate you could get spiked too and you could get it in a boot or a mug- but we just got it in a paper cup and we didn’t get it spiked. It came with hot chocolate and marshmallows and it was nice and chocolatey. They have so much food that looks really good at this place- but we didn’t stay that long and we had had a Wawa breakfast sandwich and coffee just a little bit before and that filled us up a bit. It was also all kind of heavy food and we just didn’t need that at the time.

So that was that! I would probably go back to this market if I was in Philly or wanted a weekend away… but it was an expensive weekend and slightly dangerous with the ride share experience… still fun though!

Bye!
