Current Favorites: 9.12.25

So I usually post weekly favorites- but I haven't been posting that much... so for right now I'm posting my current favorites. I've been off of work this week and I haven't been doing all that much- but let's talk about my favorites.

So I've been watching a few shows lately. Some of my favorites came back, I've started some new ones... it's just an exciting time for tv in general. I'll have more in depth reviews on these things eventually... but yeah. Wednesday Season 2 ended really well- I wish they had released it weekly or just had all the parts together because the pacing was weird- but I did love it overall. Only Murders in The Building Season 5 has been really good so far- I've watched the first 3 episodes twice already. I've been watching Sex and the City and it's been... frustrating but fun to watch. I've also been watching Dexter- I've kind of taken a break from it because I finished the trinity killer season and it's not really as good. I've also been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer with my boyfriend- we've been watching it kind of slowly but still enjoying it a lot. We're halfway done with season 2 I think. I finished The Hunting Wives also- but I didn't really like it that much.

I've also been watching horror movies- I'm trying to have a post every day in October for different horror movies. So far I've watched 15, so I'm halfway done. I might include some books and tv shows in that also just so I don't have to watch so so many movies- as much as I love horror movies. My highlights so far are Weapons, I Saw The TV Glow, Terrifier, and Bride of Chucky. Oh and Practical Magic- I like Practical Magic a lot and I'll probably watch it again.

I finished reading The Fine Print by Lauren Asher and I started The Ex Hex by Erin Stirling. I really liked How The Fine Print ended and so far I'm really loving The Ex Hex. I'm trying to read spooky, witchy books because I have an entire bookshelf just of witchy books.

Also- I should talk about the small rabbit in the room... I've become obsessed with Labubu lol. I like Pop Mart a lot and right now I have 8 labubus... at least one from every collection- except the A-M box of the new mini labubus. I also have some skull panda, crybaby and I like Peach Riot and Twinkle Twinkle a lot. I might post a pop mart collection soon because I've had good luck with them.

I also just posted about my music collection- and I've been listening to my Savage Garden tape... and I might do a longer post about some of the music I've been liking soon. I'm trying to learn more about the bands I listen to because I watched some interesting tiktoks about Karen Carpenter and Lesley Gore and I just think there's something about learning about these songs and listening to some live music from the bands too. Savage Garden is pretty interesting because I always thought of them as like a one hit wonder band from the 90s... but there's a lot more to them than that... but I will post about them in a seperate post.
