Comic and Thrift Store Haul

Alright so today I went to a comic store and they had everything I liked… AND I found a holy grail item at a thrift store and some other stuff.

I love The X Files and I think I want to start collecting X Files a little more and they had several comic book volumes for just $1. A lot of the X files comics are in dollar bins- so if you collect then you should pick it up. I got a different cover variant of an issue I have that’s about young Mulder and Scully. I also got several of the season 10 comics. They had more that I didn’t get- but the season 10 comics are apparently very good. I also like the art of the x files comics so that was great.

They also had some issues of my favorite manga: Maison Ikkoku! I was really excited- these have different covers than the ones I got- but I liked these covers just as much. I didn’t think I had 7+ 8 so I got those two.

They also had 50% off toys and they had a cute snoopy with Schroder’s piano and it was cute… so I got it! I had to take it out of the box to go home with me though!

We also went to Value Village this day and we found some really good things! I actually got 3 bags of toys that they had. One had a snoopy detective in it- and it also had a Lego joker, 3 Mario mushrooms that spring up, a spider man, some encanto bracelets, a snap bracelets, some plastic toys that looked like pieces to something else (which I ended up throwing out) and a ninja turtle. I actually unboxed and cleaned these in the hotel and left them up by our windowsill as decorations. I also got some bags with some McDonald’s Yu Gi Oh Sanrio toys and Masked Singer toys… so I need to clean those up and open up those bags to show them off.

I also found something kind of rare that I was looking for: the Growing Up Lizzie DVD collection- which is Volume 2 of the show. So they never released a full series of Lizzie McGuire on DVD- just these collections which usually go for a lot online and I think they may have only been released in Canada? So that’s kind of cool.

I also did get to another value village a few days later and we got a Robin Williams Comedy Special and A Pup Named Scooby Doo- which they actually had quite a few volumes of- but I think I just got volume 1. I left Volume 4 for someone else. Ohhh and they had Scooby Doo Meets The Harlem Globetrotters- which I love!

That’s everything- I will probably clean up the toys and show everything that I got in another post!

Bye!

-Shannon
