Canada Trip Day 5: Road Trip!

Day 5 started with a morning trip to Tim Hortons! Stuck with the Tirimisu latte and this morning I got a biscuit bacon egg and cheese sandwich and the biscuit was really good. I also got a Dutchie donut- which was probably my least favorite donut I tried from Tim’s- but it was still pretty good!

And then we went on a road trip to a town called Lunenberg- which my friend from Canada said was super cute… and IT WAS super cute! It was a nice waterfront town with a lot of really old buildings and really colorful buildings and it was so pretty! There were a lot of cute stores and galleries there too. We stopped in a gallery store and I got some stickers there and some other pins and cute things. One thing she had all over the store were these houses that looked like the houses in lunenberg- so I had to get one of those.

We also stopped for food. I had a really good grilled cheese somewhere and it seemed like a really small town because everyone knew everyone by name and they all knew that we were tourists… so that was kind of fun to see the dynamic.

After that we stopped in some vintage stores, a knitting and knitting supply store- where I also got some cute pins for my cousins. They had some really cool shops there that I would go back for- but we were parked at a meter and we had other plans for the day… and I was pretty shopped out at that point.

We saw a little store along the way to our next location which was cute so we stopped there. I got a nice Richard Scarry sticker and little makeup bag also Richard Scarry… and I got the same Richard Scarry sticker for my mom because I used to really like that seek and find book.

We visited my friends family member after that and then we ate dinner at Charge burger and I tried poutine for Aspen+ my first time… and it was really good. We got schwarma poutine and it had fries and gravy and cheese curds and chicken… it was good.

And after that we headed to a Winner’s because I’m somewhat of Tj Maxx expert and I needed to see a Winner’s. And then we went to another Value Village and I think I already posted what we got from that one- but it was good.

And then we went back to the hotel to pack :( this was our last night in Canada and we were not ready to go home… but we had to anyway.

So this was our last real day! Our travel day home was kind of stressful so I don’t know that I’ll talk about that but… I think I’ll try to post more Canada stuff and travel stuff- so look out for that!

Bye!
