Book Review: It’s A Date Again by Jeneva Rose

Since Jenevs Rose just released a new book I thought I’d talk about her first Romance book that she wrote It’s A Date Again! This is a very cute rom com that centers around Peyton- a woman who is dating around a little bit and she realizes who she loves and she runs to tell him and gets hit by a car and goes into a coma. After that she has amnesia and she doesn’t remember who she is at all. When she’s in the hospital her two best friends Maya and Robbie are there with her and three men come in all claiming to be her boyfriend… and she has to figure out who she loves.

So the three guys are a Wall Street Guy who’s sweet but he’s very busy and Peyton wasn’t sure if he’s been blowing her off. There’s a sweet chef guy that thinks he might be in the Friend Zone with Peyton, and there’s a contractor guy who claims he and Peyton have been intimate and she feels she has a strong connection with.

She also finds out from a woman that’s like a mother figure to her that she said one of them is a liar. So she needs to find out who she really loved and who the liar is.

This book is similar to Overboard and Mamma Mia, and I think my mom even compared it to another famous Rom Com- but I don’t remember which one.

Anyway this is cute and fun although it’s a little predicable- but it’s cute and all the characters are good. The side characters too!

I would recommend this book- it’s nothing super life changing but it made me smile and it was a really quick read. If you’re in a reading slump and you don’t want to read anything that’s too deep or you have to think about to much. It’s just a cute book that will make you happy.

There’s also no spice in this book, there’s some good descriptions of kissing and stuff but it is not spicy at all. So if you’re not looking for spice- this is good too.

Bye!
