Okay- now for probably the best movie I've watched of this challenge so far: When Harry Met Sally! I've never actually seen this movie before and I was excited to finally watch it. It is a classic for a reason- it's a great New York movie and it's just really really funny.
So this stars Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal as Sally and Harry- two people who just keep meeting each other and nothing really happens from it. The first time they meet- they drive to New York together and discuss why Men and Women can't be friends. The second time- Harry doesn't recognize Sally but they end up sitting on a plane next to each other and talk throughout the plane ride and they still don't end up liking each other. The third time they end up becoming best friends and they just have fun doing things together while not being a couple.
While I was watching it- I really liked their friendship and I thought that it would still be a good movie if they just stayed friends and didn't become a couple. Slight Spoilers: I still really liked the ending. It was really cute and I'm glad they stayed together and built on their friendship.
This just seemed like a very real love story. The two had great chemistry together and they did need to be in each other's life. I liked their other friend characters also. The scene with Harry talking to his friend about his wife leaving him while they're at a basketball game doing the wave was really funny to me. I liked that Sally's friend ended up with Harry's friend after a failed attempt at a set up... over all there were a lot of funny moments and the whole cast really made the movie.
I also know this is a movie people love watching in the fall especially and it is a very cozy movie to watch around the holidays without actually being a holiday movie. I really loved it.
So overall- I highly recommend checking this movie out. I had tons of fun watching it and it is a really fun and funny movie!
Bye!
