Okay- now I have a double feature with some of my favorite characters: The Peanuts Gang!
The Great Pumpkin
I was a little late watching my Halloween movies for the year because I was watching Horror movies and I also don't currently get freeform- so I missed a lot of their Halloween movies- which is really upsetting. Anyway- The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is always a favorite of mine. I think this is one of the funniest peanuts specials. I love how Charlie Brown keeps on getting Rocks for Halloween instead of Candy and I love the scene with Snoopy as the Flying Ace.
I also love Sally and Linus- Sally is one of my favorites from the Peanuts Gang- and I love that she stands by her man Linus in the Pumpkin Patch- even when she's really mad at him because she missed out on all that candy!
Plus Linus in this is really cute. He just believes in The Great Pumpkin- even at the end of the special after The Great Pumpkin doesn't show up at the Pumpkin Patch. It's just really funny and a great special overall. If you missed it this Halloween- still watch it. It's got great fall vibes and is just fun to watch!
Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
I like this one even better as an adult than when I was a kid I think. It's just so funny to me that Peppermint Patty just invites herself and 2 other classmates to Charlie Brown's house for Thanksgiving and then when she gets served food Charlie Brown could make himself... she gets really angry.
I also love the scene where Snoopy and Woodstock are setting up the table and everything goes wrong and snoopy fights with the chair... This I think has the most Woodstock of any of the holiday specials and I really love Woodstock so I love this one.
And I love watching snoopy make all the toast and the popcorn. It's so funny and I really like how it's animated.
Alright that is it! I did also watch and love A Charlie Brown Christmas BUT I'm going to post my review for that in December when I watch all holiday movies!
Bye!
