Okay- this one I was excited to watch after Father of The Bride. I’ve seen this movie before as a kid- now I’m a grown up so I kind of have a different perspective on it. Plus I’ve never seen the sequel and I don’t really remember any of this movie- so it was fun.
This is a movie about the Baker family- Tom and Kate Baker and their 12 kids… and how life is a little crazy for them with the 12 kids. Steve Martin’s character Tom gets his dream job offer to be a coach at the school he went to- and he’s getting a big pay raise- so he’s able to move out and give the kids pretty much everything they want- aside from being far away from their home where they grew up.
And on top of the move bringing a little bit of craziness for the family- Kate’s book also called Cheaper By The Dozen gets published- so she needs to go away on a book tour and to promote the book leaving Tom alone with all the kids.
Overall this was a pretty cute movie with fun characters and we focus on each of the kids just enough without it being too much. It’s cute and fun and overall just a nice movie. I hear the sequel is actually pretty good too- so I’m excited to watch that one too!
Bye!
