25 Days of Christmas Movies: My Least Favorite Movies that I Can Rewatch

Okay- so today I have some Christmas movies that I’m not fond of… but I still watch them when they’re on and I’ve watched them on streaming before too. The last couple years I’ve watched these.

Fred Claus

So I watched this for the first time last year and I kind of liked it… but it’s nothing that great. I like the characters- but I think the plots kind of pointless. Fred is Santa’s older brother and he goes to the North Pole so Santa pays his bail and then he helps out the elves… that part is cute but there’s a plot of Santa getting audited by Kevin Spacey and I kind of don’t like that plot. Everything else is fine though. And the ending is pretty good.

Four Christmases

I watched this one last year and it’s okay but I don’t really like Vince Vaughn’s character much. It’s also a little bit of an uncomfortable watch because all the families are so mean. I guess really just the first family is kind of bad and then in the rest of the movie it’s not really as bad- But I don’t think it’s my favorite. I might watch it again next year- but I won’t be upset if I don’t watch it.

Deck the Halls

So I actually didn’t have time to finish this movie. I have like 30 minutes left- so this isn’t a full review but I do kind of like this movie even though it’s not that good. There are so many better Christmas movies since this one was released that it just isn’t really relevant anymore. It’s not bad but it isn’t that funny and it isn’t that memorable.

I also thought that Matthew Broderick’s character was way more of a “Christmas Guy” than what’s shown in the movie. He’s not really that Christmas-y his decorations aren’t really over the top. I think he just likes Christmas a lot and does some Christmas stuff for the town. I like Kristin Chenowith and Kristin Davis’s Friendship in the movie and overall I thought it was fun so far although slightly mean spirited. I think the end is nicer though but I’ll report on that when I finish it.

So overall these were okay movies. If I didn’t see any of them again I’d be okay- if I had to rank them I’d say Deck The Halls 1st, the Four Christmases And Fred Clause as my least favorite.

Bye!

This is another movie I don’t watch every year- but maybe I should. It’s a little bit weird but it’s funny and it’s cozy and I’ve seen it enough times that I can watch it without having to pay too muc
