25 Days of Christmas Movies: A Charlie Brown Christmas

Welcome to my next movie review series: 25 days of Christmas Movies!!! I’m starting off with one of my favorite ways to start off the Christmas season: A Charlie Brown Christmas!

I watched this early in November actually because I didn’t watch The Great Pumpkin and I wanted to watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving also- so I had to watch this too. I also always like watching this first because this really shows the true meaning of Christmas and I just think it’s nice to watch this before any other holiday movie. It just makes sense to me and it feels more like Christmas.

My favorite moments in this are obviously when Charlie Brown picks out the little tree and when the rest of the peanuts gang helps decorate it because it’s not a bad tree. It’s very sweet.

I also think it’s funny when Charlie Brown’s family is going commercial and he gets frustrated. Like when Sally asks Santa for 10s and 20s and when Snoopy wins the contest and has all the lights on his doghouse. It’s cute and funny.

Also there are some iconic moments like the dancing and the ice skating at the beginning. I love it!
