Who I would like to see as the next James Bond/ 007

Okay so after seeing all the bond movies… I’m really wondering who the next Bond will be and here are some I’ve heard or seen on lists and why I think they’d be good.

A few years ago I would have said Idris Elba and only Idris Elba… but now I think he’s a little too old for the role and I believe he’s declined it… which is sad... so this is just my honorary mention that I’d love Idris Elba in the franchise. He could be Q although I do really like the current Q… Idris Elba could be funny as Q.

Henry Cavil

I feel like Henry Cavil will likely be the next James Bond and I think he’d do a great job. Cavil is incredibly good looking and also kind of a nerd in real life… so I feel like he could make a really smart bond which we don’t always see.

Harry Styles

I love Harry Styles and I feel like he could be a good James Bond. He’s very young but as far as the younger choices go- Harry Styles would probably be my favorite. Harry is very fashionable so it would be cool to see him as a fashionable Bond. I feel like he could be a good Bond Villain Also.

Rege Jean Page

I don’t watch Bridgerton- but this is the hot guy from season 1 of bridgerton. He’s so hot… he’s who I pictured Gus Everett as in Beach Read… and don’t tell me otherwise. Who cares if he’s even a good actor- he’s hot. Lol

Henry Golding

Again… Henry Golding is very very hot. I feel like that’s my reasoning behind most of these picks- but I grew up in the 90s and there is no one hotter than James Bond. 90s Bond was Pierce Brosnan so yeah. I’m right…im basically just listing hot actors that happen to be british. All that being said though- I love Henry Golding- Crazy Rich Asians is such a good movie and he does such a good job in that… and I liked him in A Simple Favor… he would make a great Bond.

Gillian Anderson

A female James Bond would be awesome. And if any woman could do it… it’s Gillian Anderson. She played an FBI agent for years on The X files- and she plays a lot of characters that are very sexual… so she could definitely play the playboy aspect of James Bond.

Tom Hiddleston

I’ve seen his name thrown around a bit and I think he could be a good James Bond- but I worry that he is too well known for Loki and I feel like I see him more as a Bond villain than a hero… but he could still be good.

Robert Pattinson

I don’t really want Robert Pattinson to be James Bond because I like him so much as Batman and I know Robert Pattinson would get burnt out on it. But I feel like we could use another guy with a short stint as Bond and Pattinson could maybe do a movie or 2. He would also make a really good Bond villain.

Ryan Reynolds

I’d like to see a funnier Bond again and I feel like Ryan Reynolds would be the pick for that. He’s not British… but if they pick any American or Canadian actor- I’d like it to be him.

That is everyone I can think of. The 2 people who I wouldn’t want to be James Bond would be Johnny Depp- who I don’t think would do it anyway but I don’t think I’ll ever support Johnny Depp again. Also Tom Holland- maybe one day but he’s just so young now and he needs to be a little better at acting.
