Studio 666 Review

Alright my 3rd day of writing horror reviews every day... but I'm wayyyy behind... Studio 666! This is a horror comedy starring The Foo Fighters and even though it's a comedy... don't let that fool you... the kills in this movie are so clever and fun to watch.

I think this is a must watch if you're a Foo Fighters fan- it was the last movie the band did together before their drummer passed away and the last album they did together. The music in this film is also really good. A lot of music critics describe it as the best metal album of the year... I'm not a big music critic (despite having a music series on this blog where I try to find the best song of all time) but it was really good music.

The middle of the movie was kind of boring. There's like the first kill of the movie, then some haunted house type stuff that kind of drags on a little too long, then some more kills and some more really good horror elements, and then the end of the movie... which also dragged on a bit. I don't even really remember what happens in the end and I just watched this movie like a week ago.

Overall the movie was worth watching, I bought the dvd and I think it was worth buying. I don't know the foo fighters that much- My cousin is a big fan of them so I might eventually give her the movie... but I think I'd watch it again. It's a fun watch for sure- and I would definitely listen to the album or other foo fighters music.

Not my favorite horror comedy- but overall a fun horror movie.

Bye!
