Okay guys... it's time to rank the horror icons... are you excited?

Today we'll be ranking Chucky, Jason Vorhees, Freddy Krueger, Ghostface, Candyman, Michael Meyers, Jigsaw and I'm going to throw Hannibal Lector in there just for some pizzazz. Ohhh and Pinhead! And you know what- let's make it an even 10 I've seen all the Paranormal Activity movies so I'm going to put Katie on the list because... why not! There are better choices for female villains- but I remember Paranormal Activity and I've seen a good amount of the movies.

If you're wondering "why isn't leather face on this list" I haven't watched any Texas Chainsaw movies. same with any other movie not included- they can be a horror icon- but they aren't on this list. Lol. I'm also not including anyone from a comedy because obviously Beetlejuice would win... and I want to be Elvira as my career so yeah.

Also this list isn't perfect and some of these movies I've seen every movie in the series and some I've seen only one of... so this is just for fun. I'm not a film bro.

10)Jason Vorhees

I'm a little bit biased because I've only seen 2 Jason movies as he is not in Friday the 13th... but Jason is kind of the most boring on this list and I feel like he's sort of a Brute.

9)Chucky

I was surprised that I liked the first Child's Play movie at all. I hadn't been scared by Chucky really because... he's just a doll. But I just watched it recently and I really liked it. Chucky himself isn't my favorite part of it. It's just a good movie.

8) Hannibal Lector

I don't know if Hannibal is as much of a "horror icon" as everyone on this list... BUT Silence of the Lambs is a really great movie and Hannibal came out when I was getting scared by scary movies and I used to joke with my mom about them saying "hello clarice" so Hannibal is iconic to me.

7) Katie from Paranormal Activity

Okay so hear me out... I didn't include her on the list till after I wrote the other icons... and I could have easily added her in before Chucky but... I like the Paranormal Activity movies and Katie is the constant in that movie series... and she's very creepy and seeing her in Paranormal Activity 4 kind of made up for the movie not being that great. Is Chucky scarier? Yes but did Paranormal Activity get me into horror movies and does that make it more iconic...yes. Maybe she's not really more iconic than Chucky... but to me she is.

6) Candyman

Tony Todd is the perfect horror movie villain. His performance in Candyman is just perfect. Also Candyman is one of those movies that seem like a silly horror movie- but the symbolism and themes are deep and it's actually really scary. Like it makes me feel uneasy when I turn the lights off anywhere with a mirror- and I don't get scared of movies easily.

5) Pinhead

I've only seen the First Hellraiser movie- so Pinhead wasn't really in it much... and he's not really a villain in this first movie but... it's just kind of cool. This is a horror movie and kind of very much a movie about sex... and Pinhead is just a very cool figure in this movie.

4) Michael Meyers

Michael Meyers is kind of similar to Jason Vorhees BUT I think Michael Meyers has a better backstory and his introduction in Halloween is pretty cool. I also just kind of like that the Halloween movies introduce different things... I sort of liked what they tried to do with Halloween Ends... and it sets it apart from a lot of horror movies.

3) Freddy Krueger

Okay I couldn't choose between my top 3. I still don't know what I'm going to pick for my top 2... but Freddy's personality in every movie is just really funny and entertaining. All of the original Nightmare on Elm Street movies are great, A New Nightmare and Freddy Vs Jason are also really fun movies... Freddy is a really fun villain and these are just great.

2) Jigsaw

The Saw Movies are probably my favorite movies on this list. It's between Saw and Scream and I think overall I do really enjoy the Saw movies and... they're like a soap opera and a horror movie and I'm a soap opera girlie and a horror movie girlie... so I love Saw.

Tobin Bell is also a perfect actor and... he's so good in this role. It's so entertaining to watch and... he's just so great in these. Like I can't explain it but... what a cool guy.

1)Ghostface

So obviously- Ghostface is my boy. Scream is my movie of choice. Stu Macher is my favorite Ghostface. Matthew Lillard is a god. Ghostface is my number 1 most iconic horror villain.

So there you go! Everyone has a favorite- who is yours???? What's your favorite scary movie???

Bye!
