Bahr's Oktoberfest menu is back- it's just as good as ever... and possibly even better. I went for my birthday!
I had 3 appetizers. 2 from the Oktoberfest menu and one on the regular menu. The ones pictured are the German Onion Soup and the Bavarian Pretzel. The German Onion Soup was the absolute best that I've ever had it. They used to put a small pretzel on it- but this time it was just topped with tons of Gouda Cheese and it was absolutely delicious.
The pretzel was really great too- the cheese sauce was so so good and the mustard is also really good. I think it's a beer cheese... we took this home as leftovers.
My dad and I also shared Steamers and they were sooooooo good last night omg. I always love the steamers they have here and at their outdoor sister restaurant Moby's but these were great.
To go with the steamers- although they are clams and not Oysters- I got a Lavendar Lemon Drop. This was strong- but really good at the end of the drink. I just had one- I don't think I could order 48 oysters and 3 lemon drops... especially not on a first date... but one or 2 are really good!

This isn't my favorite drink I've ever had from Bahrs but it's really good.
And the entree was my favorite for the Oktoberfest menu and it is Pierogis. This comes with Kielbasa and a really nice gravy. They also serve it with Sour Cream and Mustard- which I used on the leftovers I ate today for lunch.

This was so so good... and I have to say Bahrs is mostly a seafood restaurant- but the non seafood items on the menu are just as good. They have great Steak- and anything from the Oktoberfest menu is delicious also. They keep that menu basically through the whole fall and winter I think too- so that is especially great.
I had a great meal- my parents had a great meal. It was a great birthday!
Bye!
