Feeling a little burnt out 5.23.22

So I haven’t posted in a really long time… and most of my posts are about how I haven’t posted in a long time.

So do you ever just take a second and realize what month it is and you’re like “what???? It‘s May already???? ” cause that happened to me today. This week is my sister’s anniversary and my best friends birthday and I just realized that and I’m like OMG WHAT WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN and yeah… so stuffs been happening!

Have I been reading still? Kind of! I will probably still finish 5 books by the end of the month… possibly more because my Heartstopper books should be here on Thursday. Ive been reading Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher and I really like it- but I’m kind of enjoying reading it a little slowly. I’ll probably finish it tonight- but with fantasy sometimes I just like being in the world for a little bit.

I don’t think I followed my TBR at all because after reading Book Lovers I realized I was a bit burnt out on Romance books- so right now I’m reading a fantasy and next… I either want to read something funny, something from dual perspectives or a male perspective, or another fantasy. So I really have NO IDEA what to read. Nettle and Bone really isn’t funny at all and it’s from a third person POV… which isn’t my favorite POV but it’s still a good book.

I also just got some more stuff from Erstwilder- they have hair clips and rings releasing today- so I wanted to order some of those… and I had $100 in points saved up so it was only $34! Which is awesome!

Since I didn’t buy a lot there- I decided to order some books from a UK site called Waterstones. The author of Heartstopper is Alice Oseman and it is very hard to find their books in the US- every store has been selling out so I ordered Nick and Charlie, Radio Silence and This Winter… and I just realized I didn’t order Solitaire… sooooooooo I might need to do that now… yeah I cancelled my order and I might reorder with Solitaire! i can’t believe I forgot!

Anyway… I think that’s about it. I will maybe post a bunch of book reviews for my next few posts. I was going to contain them to once a week… but I think I want to just start posting daily and book reviews might be a good start!
