25 Days of 2025 Movies: Thunderbolts*

So Thunderbolts* was a movie that I was pretty excited to see- I used to always look forward to Marvel Movies… Now I feel like they’re more hit and miss- there are a few I haven’t seen… but this one was built up for several movies so I was happy to see it paid off. All those weird second plot lines with Julia Louis Dreyfus showing up for half the movie and wanting to assemble a team.

I like the team in this movie, I was kind of happy to see John Walker back in more of a starring role- I thought he was really good in this movie. I liked Yelena and Alexi and I like Lewis Pullman. I thought he was really good in this movie as sort of the villain but also kind of a guy that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. This is an interesting one.

I do kind of think this was a movie made to set up Avengers: Doomsday… but I also think this is a fun movie to just watch on its own.

So that’s what I think about Thunderbolts aka The New Avengers.
