Worst Movies of 2023

Last week I talked about the best... now let's talk about the worst.

I'm going to start it off with 2 not so bad movies...

I started watching 80 for Brady recently and I did not finish it... it wasn't that funny to me first of all. Secondly it just seems weird to me that Tom Brady is in this movie... probably made a lot of money from it- probably everyone involved with this movie made a lot of money... but this is based off of a real group of women over 80 and they haven't even met Tom Brady... sooo that just threw me off a bit.

My least favorite movie I saw in theaters this year was probably Knock at The Cabin. I didn't dislike this movie at all- I think if I had read the book first I might have... but I thought it was an okay movie- it just wasn't the best or most interesting. I liked it more than Old from M Night Shymalon.

Okay now onto the actual worst.

I think the worst movie I saw from 2023... I'm trying to decide between The Flash and Five Nights at Freddy's and I think I'm going to go with The Flash. I didn't totally dislike the plot of The Flash... but towards the end of the movie- it just became more and more pointless. I don't know why Michael Keaton was really in it... I just overall didn't like it. I also think Ezra Miller should have been fired from being The Flash. I don't think it's fair that we don't treat Ezra Miller the same way we treat Jonathan Majors.

Five Nights at Freddy's I thought was REALLY boring. I didn't think it was scary at all- The acting was pretty bad... and they totally wasted Matthew Lillard in this. I'm glad people loved Matthew Lillard in this... but he was kind of watered down. I would still watch a sequel for this movie... but I'm not a fan of the games and I just didn't like the movie. I was a disappointed- I thought it could be good.

There has been some buzz around May December and I have to say... it's not that good. I didn't think any of the actors did a bad job with it- Charles Melton was particularly good... but over all I just didn't like Natalie Portman's role in the movie... and it's probably the weakest Oscar contender for the year in my opinion. If either ladies in this movie win over Emma Stone in Poor Things I'd be shocked.

Evil Dead Rise I didn't like... and I saw Evil Dead 2 and 3 this year and loved them. I don't like Possession movies really so- that might just be me.

Cocaine Bear really disappointed me... I had heard some good reviews on this- and I watched it on streaming even though I didn't think the trailer looked good... there was too much going on with it and I just didn't like it.

And I didn't really like the new Transformers that much... it's not the worst movie on this list... it might be one of the better ones... I was thinking of not mentioning it on the worst list... but my boyfriend seemed to really not like it too... so I'm going to mention it for him. lol.
