Weekly Favorites: 12.15.23

Alright I hope you guys are having a lovely week. Here are some things I really liked.

I'm going to put the Wonka Menu from IHOP on this list because it was pretty delicious. I really liked my perfectly purple pancakes. I also liked my hot chocolate. This was good.

I saw The Boy and The Heron and I have a hard time finding what I want to say about it because I saw it in Japanese- and I still really liked it- the Japanese voice acting was great... but I feel like some of it might have been lost in translation to me. I would still say go out and see it and it's worth seeing in Japanese if that showing works better for you. It's the only Ghibli movie I've seen in theaters and it's not the best one to see in theaters- I want to see the other movies when they come out... but this is a good one.

I also watched Tokyo Godfathers and that was a really fun movie- it was sad but... I would watch it again around Christmas time. I also watched Both Home Alone movies and Elf and I tried watching Muppet Christmas Carol but I started falling asleep.

I also FINISHED watching the original series of Frasier. I loved this show- it ran for 11 seasons but there weren't many bad episodes- it's like Modern Family where I feel like it could have gone on for 10 more seasons. It makes sense that they have a reboot out and that the reboot actually works. Also KELSEY GRAMMER HAS PLAYED FRASIER FOR SO LONG! It's great that he and Bebe Newerth are STILL so good as Frasier and Lilith!

I also got the new Erstwilder Cutopia collection and I love these little guys. I might not wear them until after Christmas but these are great! I also wore the snowglobe one today because that was in last years collection and Fab Hatters sends a free lucky dip with the purchase of a certain amount... so that was cool! The gingerbread man was part of that also and I already have him so I gave him to my mom. I can't wait to wear them!
